Esha Deol Debut film, Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, did not do well at the box office, but her performance was noticed, and she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award. She starred in a number of films over the next two years, but none of them succeeded. She finally had her first big hit with Dhoom (2004). Tattoos are the latest in-thing in Bollywood and after Urmila Matondkar sported one, Esha Deol now joins the club. The actress shocked all and sundry at the music launch of Zayed Khan's forthcoming film "Rocky" this week by sporting a Gayatri mantra tattoo on her right shoulder and an Om on her left and said it was not planned. "I'd been thinking of getting a tattoo for a long time but it just never happened. I am a very spiritual person and I have been chanting Gayatri mantra since I was a kid," she told reporters. Esha got them done by Ronni Froberg of Funky Monkey fame. She happened to know him through her hair stylist Peri Patel who introduced Esha to him about two years ago. Apart from Esha and Urmila, the other actor who is proud of his tattoos is Sanjay Dutt.
