A fanatic Bollywood buff, Geeta Basra grew up on a staple diet of Hindi films. Given her penchant and affinity for Indian cinema, 'Bollywood' just seems apt for the London lass. Her debut film DIL DIYA HAI sank into oblivion but Geeta is all set to carve a niche for herself in the make-believe world of entertainment. "I'd be lying of I said I wasn't disappointed. The promos looked promising and people were taking note of it. I guess we shouldn't have released it around shrad plus there was LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI giving us tough competition," sighs Geeta adding, "People who've seen the film now really liked it. Cliched as it may sound, we as actors worked with utmost sincerity and gave it our all. Anyway people have appreciated my work and I still get calls for my performance."
